Transportation
Weslaco is home to the Mid Valley Airport, a facility for private aircrafts that features on-call Customs and Border Protection inspections Monday – Saturday, 8 am to 5 pm (Must provide a 2-hour notice). The two closest commercial airports are McAllen International Airport, located approximately 20 miles to the west and Valley International Airport, located approximately 25 miles to the east in Harlingen. Airlines serving the Rio Grande Valley include United Airlines, American Airlines, Allegiant Air, Aeromar, Southwest Airlines, Sun Country Airlines and Delta Airlines.
